I painted this on site in the Cajon Pass. The Rock Candy Mountains are locally known as Mormon Rocks. The railroad tracks are visible across the center of the landscape.

Born in Los Angeles, I grew up in Redlands and began painting commissioned murals at the age of 19. My clients have included the Cities of Redlands and Riverside, Loma Linda University Medical Center, and the San Bernardino Police Department.

In 2004 I returned to L.A. to attend Otis College of Art + Design to earn my BFA. During classes and internships I worked with notable artists including muralist Kent Twitchell, artist Suzanne Lacy and environmental artist Susan Steinman.
I moved back to the Redlands area upon graduation in 2007. I draw upon my surroundings for inspiration and continue to paint murals and oil paintings.
