Killer Sharks

I was asked to create the cover art for a compilation album called "Killer Sharks" from Racket Magazine. I wanted to re-create a recognizable album cover but somehow include sharks... I ended up drawing my own version of Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here." The music compilation is available as a free download at http://www.racketmag.com/

Plein Air Study...

Summer

9" x 12"

I worked on this small painting over the course of 3 days, at around the same time each day. My goal was to capture the distinct lighting of the late afternoon sun on the church and mountains.
